Twee in the Garden

I hope you had a nice weekend and are ready for Monday. I'm not. I really wish this weekend was a lot longer. Steve was on tour with his band Scale Model so I only got to spend Sunday with him. I spent most of my weekend working on a super-special-secret-project to be announced soon! (I hope it goes over well!) I've been able to speak to my parents a bit more, but the situation doesn't seem much better. They are still without power, and the gas shortage is making people crazy. I get really bummed out when I hear stories of violence and looting during a time of trouble. Just be nice to each other!
We took these pictures yesterday at a nearby shopping area that has an adorable backyard patio and garden. It was really warm for November so I took advantage of it by taking outfit photos without a coat on! I wonder how bloggers do it during the very cold months... I guess I'll have to put a smile on my face and pretend it's tropical outside.
Do you see my awesome bow? It's from Bethany from Those Bow Times. She makes beautiful handmade bows. Check back tomorrow for a chance to win this one! The bow totally inspired this outfit. It made me feel twee and cute, so of course I broke out my favorite sweater of all time. I just love the little heart details!

    1. Awww thanks Renee! You are such a sweetheart.

Thanks for asking about my 'rents. They are hanging in there. They are in the process of cleaning out all the damage and working on fixing it. It will take a while- but it's a start.

  7. I love this outfit so much! I'm glad you've gotten to speak to your parents a bit more and that they are doing ok. It's so terrible that people can act like that during a disaster!

    1. They get to go to the home depot every day and charge their phone. They even charge it at the supermarket and the Chinese take-out place so I'm hearing from them much more frequently. I'm hoping people just calm down and help.

    1. The jumper is my favorite. It was so expensive when I first spotted it and there was no way I was going to buy it. I stalked it until it went to the bargain basement. I snagged it up. It isn't even my size, but I don't care.
