The Color Run (Again)
You may remember that way back in October I participated in my first Color Run. I had such an amazing time that when I found out the event would be coming back to Nashville I quickly signed up. I was joined by a bunch of my favorite people and we spent the morning hula hooping and throwing colored powder in each others faces. The best part for me was that Steve decided to participate this year rather than just taking pictures from the sidelines. But you can't stop the man from being a photographer, so here are some wonderful snapshots he captured during the race.

I love the white bomb Pom all spattered! Perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteI made it special for the race. I was really REALLY hoping that it would get a lot more color than it did.
DeleteThat looks so much fun!! I want to do one of those so badly!!

Find one near you! They seem to be making there way to every major city.
DeleteThis is so bizarre. I have never heard of such a thing! It's like painless paintballing or something! Where do these things come from?
ReplyDeleteIt is a variation on the Indian Holi festival. You should look it up- people just have a big party throwing color at each other.
Deletethat white pom headband is EPIC. LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rima!
DeleteThis looks like the most fun ever, seriously. I love what happened to your poor pompom headband xo
ReplyDeleteThe pompom actually kept most of its color. I tried really hard to set it in. Hopefully when it is fully dry I can wear it out :)
DeleteThe white poms were a great idea!! This looks like so much fun. I really wish Toronto had a colour run now!

Email the company and pester them. I'm sure they would do one if there were enough squeaky wheels.
DeleteSo jealous! We had a Color Run here in January, and I couldn't join because it had filled up. I was so bummed out. I can't wait for it to come again. Love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex! I always sign up on the first day so I don't get shut out. It is amazing that they fill up considering they let so many people do it!
DeleteI'm by no means a runner but I've always thought this looked fun! Good call on the white poms. Great photos!!
