I'm going to take this moment and brag on my man for a bit. Steve is a very talented photographer who always takes beautiful photos. During our trip to Colorado, Steve was inspired by the landscape he had a chance to shoot. When he came home, he was determined to open up a shop where he can sell prints of his work. It's something he's been meaning to do for a while, and the beauty of Colorado inspired him to get it going. I'm so proud of him for opening up his Society6 shop! Happy Anniversary Steve!

A year ago today I went on a date to a local bar that became much more. This past year has been amazing. Steve is the kindest, sweetest, most loving man.  He is a perfect match for me. He appreciates my quirks and lets me be as silly as I need to be. I love how talented he is-drummer, guitarist, photographer, designer, beer-maker. He is always willing to help me with any idea I may have. I would not have this blog if it wasn't for him and the creativity and support he provides me with on a daily basis (oh- and his amazing photos!). Thank you for an amazing year. I'm hoping for many, many more.

Today is my lovely Steve's birthday. I am such a lucky girl to have found someone who is a great friend, amazing boyfriend, and all around nice guy.  Also, someone who does everything. Steve is an amazing photographer, entertaining drummer, part-time Weezer guitarist, home-brew enthusiast, DJ and science fetishist. I just want to wish a loud and proud happy birthday to my better-half.
