First of all, I would like to give a hearty welcome to all my new readers and new sponsors (check them out on the side!) I'm so happy to have you!
Oh thank goodness for weekends. I just had a fabulous string of days that ran so perfectly together. On Friday night I ate at the kitchest place EVER (more on that Friday). On Saturday, Steve and I did some errands, but not before heading over to the park to enjoy one of the last few summer weekends.
We packed a blanket and I brought a puzzle I was working on. I was really optimistic that we would make some good progress on the puzzle, but the ground was uneven and the pieces didn't lock together. So we just wrapped that up and looked at the trees.
I also had the pleasure of seeing Steve's Weezer cover band, Cio-Cio San and the Half Japanese Girls, play on Saturday night. It was a great show of 90s nostalgia and good people. I also celebrated my friend Kristy's birthday with dinner at Urban Flats and a rousing game of Cards Against Humanity. It might be one of the funniest games I have ever played. I need to get it for my next party.
