Etsy Love

Illustration Print Cats
How cute is this cat print from The Floral Prince? I love the white cat in the middle with the blue eyes- he just looks so sad!
SALE Vintage 80's Graphic Print Jumper in Black, Plum, Teal Sz 6/8
I'm kind of in love with this jumpsuit. Overall I'm mostly just digging the styling! This has early 90s fabulous written all over it! And it's even from a local seller, Nashville Rejects.
Birds of a Feather Headband
Frida Kahlo Hello! I love this headband from Girl With The Flower, another local Nashville talent. She makes beautiful flower headdresses and I can' wait to get my hands on one. Also, she is an awesome style blogger! Check her out over at Girl With the Flower to see her fabulous outfits and daring shades of lipstick!
Stay UP - orange cat hoodie - adult sizes
PIZZA CAT SWEATSHIRT. 'Nuff said.
Illustration Print - Vintage Glasses Girl
I feel like this print is very appropriate considering yesterdays post about glasses. This print is from the lovely Michelle of Creature Type. Not only is she a fashionable lady but she is a very talented artist.

Etsy: Twin Peaks Roundup

I'm a crazy Twin Peaks fan. After Steve got me this lovely charm bracelet from Etsy I went looking for some other awesome hand-crafted Peaks goodness.
TWIN PEAKS: Lucy Moran
I love Lucy! Her voice is just so annoying that it becomes comforting. I guess sounding like a small child works for her. I love this print and all the tiny detail in it. I'm also rather fond of the selective use of color.
LOG LADY - shrink plastic brooch
If you follow me on Instagram you will know that I've recently become obsessed with Shrinky Dinks. How cute is this log lady brooch? She also has a sick Dr. Jacoby one as well!
Twin Peaks 'Owl Cave' Necklace
And keeping with the jewelry theme here is an owl cave pendant. Laser cut wood- how cool is that? I've been toying with the idea of getting the Twin Peaks/Black lodge/White Lodge symbol tattooed on me somewhere!
Twin Peaks Buttons - Audrey Horne
I love Audrey and all her teenage sex power. What better way to say "I know I'm rich, hot and a bitch" than wearing this Audrey Horne Pin set?
Dr Jacoby Twin Peaks Hand Embroidered Wall Art.
I really wish I could embroider. But since I haven't learned how yet, I'll covet this Dr. Jacoby Embroidery. Hang this over your bed and it's like ALOHA all the damn time.

And just as a bonus how cool is this illustration? I wish there was some way I could get my hands on it!

Etsy Roundup: Sweater Weather

This week has started to get cold in Nashville. Instead of just running in and out of my car I find myself having to put on a jacket. Because I'm feeling cold and I have a desire to feel cozy (but do it in style) here is a round up of some of my favorite kitschy sweaters from Etsy!
Vintage 90's KNITTED Sweater with ABSTRACT Design . Size (L)
How awesome is this bright mish-mosh of a sweater? Because it features just about every color you can wear it with everything! Although, I am partial to how they styled it in this photo. If only I could get away with cut-offs in the winter!
Vintage 70s Adorable Scottie Dog Novelty Knit Sweater Vest
Everyone likes a sweater with Scottie dogs on it! This also has one of my favorite color combos- teal and orange. Personally, I'm not a fan of the pants (but that's OK they aren't selling those). This would look great over a collared shirt!
Vintage 1980's Sweater/ Mallard Duck/ Novelty Print/ Graphic/ Cobalt Blue/ Knit/ Fall/ Folk Art/ M L
And sticking with our animal theme how about this awesome duck sweater?! Also, what is the deal with really pretty women modeling awesomely ugly sweaters? 'Cause we have yet another cute and stylish model here.
Mary Maxim Vintage Sweater
Every girl needs a sweater with horses on it! But this one is $150 and that is insane. I can get a brand-spaking-new fancy sweater for that price.
Vintage 80's Chunky Knit Sweater/Colourful Mini dress oversized Pullover/
And this pastel baby is fabulous! I've seen so many ladies out there rocking this color palette. I'm sure there are a bunch of bloggers who would turn this into something special!

Do you have a favorite sweater that helps keep you cozy?

Handmade Crafty Goodness Round-Up!

http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ls03mo8LSS1qcffkqo1_500.gif
This cat has the right idea! After last weekend's Porter Flea and the fact that I have been spending many hours oggling goodies on Etsy, I figured I would do a round up of some of my hand-made crafty goodness!
Cat Art - Hypno Kitty Mind Meld Morsels - 8x10 art print by Krista Brooks
Of course I have have to start this round-up off with some cat art! Retro Pets has a great selection of kitty and doggie posters, all with a vintage advertising feel.
Cat Menorah

Hannkuah starts on Saturday and what better way to celebrate than a ceramic cat menorah!
Wooden Laser Cut Narwhal Brooch
I have a soft spot for Narwhals, the unicorns of the sea. This brooch is so adorable. I would love to put it on my cardigans!
 Cute Little Robot
This sweet R2D2 poster by Tim Cook would be a great holiday gift for that special nerd in your life!
Art Print Cateye glasses poster Cat girl - Library Masquerade 13x19 LARGE print on somerset velvet - little bandit by Marisol Spoon
I actually picked up this sweet print from Marisol Spoon at the Porter Flea for purely narcissistic reasons. This lady reminded me.... of me! Cat ears and cat eyes? Sold.

I love this dress from Sweet Cycle Apparel. They were one of the vendors at Porter Flea and I was blown away by their designs. I love that collar and all their fabric was so soft!

Pom Poms, Polka Dots, and a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Happy Monday folks! I'm enjoying my Monday morning, and despite the gray rain outside, I'm in good spirits. I felt like this weekend was a blur. On Saturday I went to the Sweet Relief bake sale and purchased a whole bunch of goodies. I think they raised $1,700-ish for Sandy relief. When Steve and I stopped by the place was packed and everyone was filling up bags with treats. On Saturday night we went to see My So-Called Band play Weezer's Blue Album and Pinkerton at The Stone Fox. The best part of the evening was finally getting to meet Rae from Say It Ain't So (can you guess why she was there?). She was so friendly and funny! I totally have a major friend crush on her now. I'm so excited that I get to hang out with her and lots of other lovely ladies at the Nashville Blogger Meet-Up tomorrow!
On Sunday Steve and I worked on our secret project (scroll down to see what it is!) and then we did a photo-shoot with two of his friends. They are sisters and wanted to give their Mom a portrait of them for Christmas. They were so cute! I totally loved being the photographer's assistant. (Mostly because I got to hang out with their super awesome dog!). If you are in the Nashville area and are looking to get some really awesome photos taken (Christmas cards, hello?) check out Steve! Shoot him an email if you are interested at stevecrossrock (at) gmail (dot) com.
*** BIG ANNOUNCEMENT TIME***

Guys, can you handle the excitement? Here's the big news: I've decided to open up an Etsy shop! I've been making tons of PomPom stuff the past few months and I just love it. Every time I wear one of my creations out people have asked me where I got them. Some people have just pointed and given the thumbs up. That is incentive enough for me to bite the bullet and open a shop! May I present to you, The BombPom.
I've spent a whole lot of time making tons of super cute Poms. Over the past week Steve and I have done product shoots and yesterday we finally got to do the shoot where I modeled my accessories. I've had so much fun creating over the past few months. I really hope you like my stuff! Also, if you guys have any suggestions or ideas that will help my shop improve- please let me know. Also, I'll take any Etsy advice you might have. I'm an Etsy selling virgin and I want to make sure I'm doing it right, ya know?
